Hi I'm Breanne

I am a stay at home Mom of 3 children. I love taking pictures and working out at crossfit with my whole family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 27 years old. I have been married for 8 years. I grew up in California playing water polo. I moved to Utah for college and while going to school I met my husband. We married and had our first child unexpectedly. We felt like we were a little young to start a family but were very excited about it. We now have 3 children and feel like our family is complete. We moved back to California to live closer to my parents. We love living in the warmer weather. My whole family enjoys working out at Crossfit. On my spare time I love to learn about photography. I also spend a lot of time helping my husband’s Commercial Real Estate business. I still have 25 credits to finish my college degree. I hope to finish it when my youngest starts school. I also am a dog lover! I have a coton de tulear and will someday also have a bulldog. I love making desserts and I stay up too late. I love watching Survivor, American Idol, X factor, and CMT top 20 countdown.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has been an easy decision for me. I was born a Mormon, but I had to gain my own testimony and decided if I wanted to be a Mormon. To me there is a logical reason and a spiritual reason of being a Mormon. Spiritually, I have prayed, read, and participated in church activities. I have felt the spirit very strong many times. I am given a feeling of peace, happiness, and security. They are feelings I don't get as strongly when reading of other faiths or attending other churches. I have also had personal spiritual experiences in my life that make it so I cannot deny my faith in Christ. Logically this church makes sense to me. If wanted to be a part of a program that helped me and my family live the happiest life possible, Mormonism would be it! We have about 500 Mormons that go to the same building at the same time every week. They become like your family and are there to help you. We meet once a week to uplift each other, we have primary where the young children learn about Christ at their learning level. There are classes for teenagers and ones for adults. We serve each other, we help each other grow. We are there for each other during hardships and we help raise each other’s kids. There is something for everyone at every stage of life in this church. There is a reason behind every single aspect of this church. Even if you do not understand today, you look back and say WOW! Look at me now. I have become a follower of Christ. I have BECOME something great. My favorite part about this church is the faith we have about after this life. I know that my family can be forever. I know that we will be together forever. I have an eternal marriage. My marriage doesn't end at death. I know that I will see Christ and Heavenly Father again. I know that this life is just a mere spec of who we really are. I know that by following Christ I will have the happiest life I can have. I have a testimony of this church and of what it can do for my family.

How I live my faith

I go to Church every Sunday for 3 hours. I meet with about 10 girls, ages 8-11 once a week for an hour and teach them something. It could be a helping them develop a talent, it could be a service project, or it could be something to teach them about living the gospel. I have a partner that goes with me once a month to visit two other ladies in our church. We stop by and talk with them. We ask them how they are doing. We share an uplifting message with them and we ask them if we can help them in anyway. I also am on a committee to help out with a Women’s conference. I am in charge of lunch for 400 women on the day of the event. It has been so much fun planning it and cannot wait for the event itself. I spend time once a week with my family having what's called Family Home Evening. We sing a song, say a prayer, and have a lesson about Jesus or what Jesus wants us to do. Then we play a game and have dessert. Once a month I fast and give the money I would have used on food to the Church. That money goes to help someone in my church that needs help. Every night my family eats dinner together and we start with a Prayer. We take turns saying the prayer. I read my Bible and Book of Mormon. I also sign up to bring food to many of the events like the Halloween and Christmas parties. I also sign up to bring Mom's with new baby’s dinner.
