Hi I'm Margaret Vidmar

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After earning a masters in international finance I worked in Southern California for Mattel toys. Shortly after marraige with the birth of my first son, I chose to stay home with my children. They were very hectic and very rewarding years. Now I am a mother of four college-age children and adjusting to the empty nest. It is way too quiet, but my husband and I are enjoying the time together and going on business trips. I also enjoy sewing, quilting, tennis, biking, hiking and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by righteous parents and taught principles of the gospel. But it has been in pursuing my relationship with the Savior that I have come to know that these principles are true. As I have lost loved ones and experienced life threathening diseases ( I am a survivor of breast cancer and my husband is also a survior of cancer and heart disease), I have come to know that Jesus Christ is real, that He loves us with His whole heart. He has restored the priesthood on the earth to bless us through trying earthly experiences and that families can be sealed together for eternity. Our relationships are eternal!

How I live my faith

My involvement in the church has varied in many aspects, but I am often a teacher. I served with young children, taught scripture classes to high school students at 6:30 in the morning before school, and taught adults on Sunday. We attempt to have each member of the congregation visited each month and I have coordinated those visits with the women and saw to needs they may have. My husband and I are currently teaching the seven year olds on Sunday morning. I also served a mission for the church in my twenties in Munich, Germany.
