Hi I'm T.J.

I love being married to my amazing wife, excited to become something more than I can without Christ, & I'm excited to be a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised on a small farm near Price Utah. I am the youngest of four children with three older sisters and two loving parents. I enjoy running, singing, playing racquetball, watching football, and being with family. I've been attending college in hopes to become a teacher. I work with special needs kids in school and love the sweet spirit they bring to class each day although most every day is chaotic! I married the love of my life in 2014 and although it's been hard I love being married. The church has never just been a Sunday activity for me, and as my life's progressed though trials I'm thankful for who I've become though living faith.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this church is true. I was raised in a member family of the church and through this I've been able to see blessings in my own life as well as my families. The feeling that you receive when you know what you are doing is right, and that you are following Jesus Christ, is amazing. A great feeling of joy and peace. Also it's great to know what Christ would have you do through guidance in prayer, scripture study, and from leaders of the church. Like the prophet. I'm a Mormon because I've found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be true through study, namely the Book of Mormon, prayer, and acts of fatih.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in Christ by doing what I know is right. Being kind to others, following Christs example, and all the other small day to day things that build and help me live my faith. Prayer and scripture study, just to name a couple. I strive to help others in service and in coming to know Christ and how they can live their faith in Him and find faith in themselves. Simply put, I strive to know what Christ would have me do and do it by following His example.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

T.J.
We seek to help others in and out of our faith. The growth of the church can not be a one man job, nor has it ever been. With that, much of the growth of the church is attributed to doing whats right, known through scripture, prayer, Christs example, and a modern day prophet (revelation). Doing whats right together, united, not alone. What's right is serving others, inviting others to find the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, building strong family relationships, and in whole following Jesus Christs example. What do Mormons believe about family?

T.J.
Family is centeral to Gods plan. Families can live togher forever. I think that knowing that my family can live together forever is one of the greatest gifts God has givin us. This is made possible though sacred ordanaces preformed in the temple. Not only is it a great blessing to know that I can live with those who I love, but it's also a great blessing to have a family unit on earth with me now. Famiy members are to strenghten one another in all things. Provide love and support for one another. In turn families are to help each other come closer to our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
