Hi I'm Michael

I was born and raised in Chicago Il. I was introduced to the church when I was in my mid teens. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My father taught me about music and how to play the guitar when I was a young boy. As time passed I became better at playing and singing and had a musical group for several years playing Tejano music. My group recorded for Capital Records and we were very popular in our area. I retired to dedicate my time to my family and my religion.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 17 yrs old I joined the Mormon church. Two years later I had the opportunity to serve as a full time missionary for the Lord Jesus Christ in the Boston Massachusetts Mission. Before my two year service was completed I met a young woman who later became my wife. We have been married for over 30 years and are the proud parents of 3 sons. I cherish my family and I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful gift in my life. It is because of the standards that we adhere to as members of the church that I have been so richly blessed. I believe that Jesus is the Christ and that through Him, and only Him, we can one day live again in the presence of our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to servce in different capacities in the church. My most memorable moments, however, are working with the missionaries and missionary work. From serving as a full time missionary to the leader of missionary work within our congragation I have seen people embrace the church and reap the blessings that come from a knowledge of Jesus Christ and all that He offers to our Heavenly Father's children. My best moments have been serving side by side with my wife sharing the message of the restored gospel on earth. What a blessing to see people learn of God and the many blessing He has in store for us.
