Hi I'm Eric

I enjoy life with my amazing wife and 4 beautiful kids in Colorado. I am a Realtor and I love to have fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Eric. I am husband to an amazing wife that does so much for our family. We have been married for 12 years and have been blessed with 4 beautiful young children that keep us on our toes. I love spending time with my family. After finishing school in Utah and California, my wife and I moved to Colorado where I have enjoyed working in real estate for about the last decade. I work in a small office and love to pull pranks on co-workers. I was raised in northern California which I tend to miss a little bit when the winter months roll around living now in northern Colorado. I enjoy playing football and basketball and just having fun outdoors. I love to wakeboard. I sell homes on a private waterski lake which allows me to practice regularly 6 months of the year. Admittedly, I am not very good...

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I am forever grateful for my upbringing in a family that taught me to love our Savior, Jesus Christ. I was taught from my youth the gospel of Jesus Christ and to rely on his sacrifice for us and follow his great example. I learned to love the word of God found both in scripture and through living prophets that continue to lead and guide us. As a young high school aged boy, I realized that even with the great foundation that I had been given by loving parents, that I needed to know for myself if what I had been taught was true. Through study, prayer, and experience, our Heavenly Father blessed me to know for myself of the truthfulness of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. In my mid 30s now, I look back at my life and I am grateful for the many many times that God has reconfirmed this to me. At the current chapter of my life, I am deeply concerned for my children and for those looking to find their way in our world. As morals decline, and society continues to move away from God I become more and more grateful for my faith and my testimony of God which have served as an anchor in a turbulent world. My desire is for my family and friends to have the same foundation.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach the scriptures to high school aged youth in my little community every weekday at 6 AM. I have been amazed and deeply impressed at the dedication and strength of these kids knowing the kind of influences that they face daily in public high schools. Our daily class helps them to bring the scriptures to life in their lives and apply Christ's teachings to help them better cope with the challenges that youth today have to deal with. I love having the opportunity to study the gospel with the youth. In addition to weekly Sunday worship, our family lives our faith in several more ways. One of these is holding Family Home Evening every Monday night. We dedicate this time to spending together as a family learning about the gospel, playing games together, going somewhere fun together, and there is usually some kind of a dessert. The lesson portion of our Family Home Evening lasts about as long as we can get our active 3 year old son to sit still and listen. He is getting better. Another way that I try to live my faith is by being prepared to serve when others are in need. My family and I have benefitted from others service so many times, I want to be able to do the same for others when I can. I believe that service to others is at the heart of being a disciple of Jesus Christ.
