Hi I'm Kyle Taylor

I grew up in Fremont UT, I am currentley serving a mission for the lord in Houston TX. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a 2 year Mission in Houston, TX. I love to go arrow head Hunting with my friends and sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church, but as every teenager in the world there comes a point where I started to go against what my parents wanted me to do. I didn't want to belong to a church because it was my parents, In the book of mormon there is a promise given by one of the early prophets in the America's. it is located in Moroni 10:3-5. In this promise it states that when you read the book of mormon and really want to know for yourself that the book of mormon is true, then you need to ask god, because he is the source of all knowledge and if this is his true church he will let you know through the power of the holy spirit. That is what I did. I read that promise and I prayed to heavenly father to know for myself if this church is true. The feeling that I got is indiscribable, It felt as if our father in heaven was embracing me and a total feeling of peace engulfed me, and my doubts about the church were swept away and I knew that this church IS true. the lord has called a prophet on the earth once more, just as he has in the times of the bible. The blessings and knowledge of the gospel which christ himself established and taught, has been restored.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. in this world of decaying values it can sometimes be hard to stand up for what WE KNOW to be right. sometimes it just takes One person to stand up for their beliefs and be that example to others. I am right now serving a 2 year mission for the church and I see people everyday that are trying their best to live rightously in this wicked world; The prophet makes it possible for us to achieve that. he gives us council, through revelation from god, on how we can live rightously and uphold our christian values.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Kyle Taylor
No, the church is world wide and there are a few programs within the church that offer help to ALL those that stand in need. The church has a welfare program set in place that all ANYONE has to do (member or not) is go and talk to the bishop (specific person who is called for a certain period of time through revelation to oversee the specific area he is in) and he will make it possible for ALL who come to him to receive help for whatever situation they are in.
