Hi I'm Catrina

I'm a runner. I'm a big sister. I'm a surfer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently run track and cross-country at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Call me crazy, but I love to run. My mom started running recreationally after she had me and encouraged me to join the cross-country team when I got into High School. My mom and dad are very supportive of me. My whole family is very encouraging. You can almost always find my grandparents and parents on the sidelines of a track or cross-country meet, not to mention, my little brother and sister. They are twins and only 3 years old. They can be kind of crazy sometimes, but that's why I love them! My family is very adventurous we love to go on hikes, crazy ventures through the wilderness, and we love to surf. I learned to surf when I was about 7 and before that I was always out in the ocean. Both my mom and dad surf and now we love to do so as a family. I can't wait until my brother and sister learn! I also enjoy taking cool pictures with my grandpa’s camera and listening to music.

Why I am a Mormon

There is no greater joy in my life than the blessings that I have received. I have been blessed so much with my wonderful family who has encouraged me to stay faithful and worthy. I have been a member my whole life and I can't imagine a life without it. Through the commandments I have been able to stay safe and become the person I am today. I have a very strong testimony that I know this church is true. I know that if I follow the commandments and the teachings I will be blessed.

How I live my faith

I believe that one of the best ways that I live my faith is through my example. I try to help others, follow the commandments, and just do what is right. I know that people look at me because they know I'm a mormon. By following the teachings I can be a person that people look to. It is through my example that I not only live my faith, but share my faith.
