Hi I'm Chris Knittle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband to a wonderful woman and father to 3 awesome children. I love music!! especially classical music and film scores. I play the clarinet and have written my own compositions. I have studied the martial arts my entire life. I have studied Shotokan, Okinawa Te, Tai Chi Chuan Fa, and Shaolin King Fu. I love spending time with my family. I fully embrace my German heritage. I love to cook(especially Bavarian Pretzels) and try new and unique foods.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in a house devoid of religion, I found myself asking questions while attempting to locate satisfactory answers. Being involved in the Martial Arts, I studied Buddhism for a time and attended multiple denominations of Christianity. Towards the end of my High School years I realized that many of my best friends were members. After High school I began taking the Missionary discussions. The Elders where able to answer many of the questions I had. After praying to Heavenly Father for confirmation I was struck with the incredible feeling of the Holy Ghost confirming the truth in the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meeting regularly and while I do have faults, I do perform my duties in my calling. I work hard to have a happy and peaceful home where the spirit is welcome. I try to be an example in my daily life while at work and other non church activities. In the past I have served in the Young Men's program and was heavily involved in the Boy Scouts program. For many years I served in the Primary teaching the wonderful youth of the church. I have to say being in Primary has been my favorite calling thus far.
