Hi I'm Jennie

I'm a wife. I'm a mother of two gorgeous boys who came to us through the miracle of adoption. I'm a manager. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah and come from a loving family who lives the gospel. My parents divorced when I was 2 and I feel so fortunate to have been raised by all my parents. I fell in love with the man of my dreams while in college. We have had quite the life together for the past 13 years. We went from being poor college kids to traveling around the country for a few years to settling and making a home in South Carolina. We have been in the depths of despair dealing with infertility, but now are experiencing the absolute joy of being parents as we were chosen by wonderful birth families to adopt 2 beautiful boys. I work from home as a manager for a medical transcriptionist company. I love to run, bike, surf, relax on the beach, hang out with my husband, dance, play and read with my children. I am a woman like so many others. My main goal is to have the spirit in our home all while balancing daily life. It can get a little hectic and crazy, but that is what I love!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight. I remember having the interview with my Bishop and wondering if there was a reason not to be baptized. I am so glad I was! I was very adament while growing up in high school that I needed to gain my own testimony. I read the Book of Mormon throughout my teenage life and again and again I felt the spirit. I prayed and knew it was true. I am grateful for the Holy Ghost as it confirms to me again and again about the truthfulness of the gospel. No one can take away all the promptings I have felt in my life; all those special moments where you can feel God's peace in your heart and in your mind.

How I live my faith

I have found it so important to live my faith each day. I do this through, most importantly, prayer and scripture study. It is important for me to focus on other people and how I can best show them Christlike love. It is funny how no matter what kind of mood you are in or what you have struggled with that day, when you help someone else, it all goes away and you feel the love that Christ has for them. I love serving in the church and teaching and helping others feel of that love.
