Hi I'm Krista Alletto

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live a simple, but happy life. I am a young wife and stay at home mother. I enjoy reading, baking, listening to music and watching movies. I love to be outdoors. I love to spend time with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I received my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ slowly over many years. As a child, I loved attending church and learning about the gospel. As a teenager, I began to develop a testimony in my heart that the things I had learned since childhood about God, my Heavenly Father, His son, Jesus Christ and His gospel plan were real and true. Now, as a young adult, I treasure and cherish the knowledge I have that Heavenly Father knows and loves me. He is aware of me and my needs. He has a plan for me. He sees my potential and seeks in all things to help me achieve those ends. He gave His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice for my sins. Through this sacrifice, I can be forgiven of wrongs, healed from sickness, strengthened in weakness, relieved of burdens and ransomed from death. I know that I can communicate with my Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, at all times and for any reason. I know that He listens lovingly and answers my prayers. I know that the scriptures are the word of God. I feel closer to Him when I read them. I know that the temple is the house of the Lord, a place of peace, a place of learning, a place of love. I know these things because the Holy Ghost has whispered the truth of these things to my heart. I find peace in these simple, yet miraculous truths.

How I live my faith

I regularly attend church services on Sunday and also seek to keep the spirit I feel at church in my heart and home throughout the week. I teach young women lessons every Sunday and participate with the girls in weekly activities designed to strengthen faith and friendship. Helping the young women discover who they are and what they believe is a gratifying experience and one that often adds to my faith and testimony as well.
