Hi I'm Patrick

I'm from Iowa. I love to sail, work on cars, and fix things. I have beautiful wife and I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a pre-med student at Brigham Young University of Idaho. I hope to one day be a primary care physician and help people recover from illnesses they encounter in life. While a student I have worked as a theater electrician, setting up lighting equipment, lights, and programming shows for others to enjoy, though it has nothing to do with the career I want, I love it! I enjoy going sailing when I'm home and working on cars. My family has a couple of classic old cars that my dad, brothers, and I have a great time tinkering with. I served my mission in the Brazil, São Paulo East MIssion. It was a great time in my life where my knowledge of the Gospel and my testimony grew exponentially.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My mom took me and my brothers to Church every Sunday and helped teach us about Christ and His Gospel. My father is not a member of the Church, but over the years he has become active in Church and continues to study much and learn. Though he is not a member, he has been a great father and supports all of us in our endeavors. Being a Mormon has helped me live a happy and fulfilling life. Knowing where I came from, why I am here and where I have the potential to be after this life gives me great confidence in the decisions I make and a strong desire to do what is right and good for myself and others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions. I love serving other people. Whether it's showing up just in time to help a neighbor carry groceries into the house or planning a service project with others to clean up a park. In serving others I feel closer to Christ than in doing almost anything else.
