Hi I'm Richard

I've lived in SLC, UT, Riverside-CA, Houston-TX, Charlotte-NC, Columbus-OH, Racine-WI, Dallas-TX, & now Denver-CO. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have five younger brothers and sisters. I have a gorgeous wife and three awesome boys. We do lots of activities and sports together. We ski and snowboard in the mountains of Colorado all winter, every winter. I am a graphic artist for America's largest builder of storage buildings and garages. I take tons of photos. I coach soccer for my nine year old's team and have since he was five. I lost my mom to ALS in August of 2010. I love to ride ATV's and dirt bikes in the mountains. I have a 1967 Jeep CJ5 in all original condition and it's my daily driver. I like RC toys, both nitro and electric. My grandfather is 98 and still drives his own car, dances on Thursday and Saturday nights, and mows half his yard. Sometimes I can talk a lot. I have too many pairs of shoes and WAAAAY too many t-shirts. When I clean up, I really clean up. Sometimes I am a pack rat, I should throw more things away. I am an artist. I can make people laugh, sometimes hysterically...I get this from my mom. My dad lives in Pagosa Springs, CO in a cabin he built about 8 years ago. It's one of my favorite places to visit! I have had three concussions, tons of stitches, and broken both ankles, my right big toe, my left wrist, and a thumb. I wear glasses. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I grew up in an LDS family. I fell away from the church (but not too far) during my high school years, college, and then for about 15 years after graduating college. Once married, I returned. I have investigated many other churches and found that my beliefs are in tune and aligned with the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that true eternal joy and happiness comes from the actual teachings of our Father in Heaven and that these teachings are delivered through this his true church. I strive to be a better person and Mormon because of these teachings.

How I live my faith

By setting an example in my home for my family. By going to church and living throughout the week like I should, not just on Sundays. By not hiding the fact I am a Mormon. By telling people what I know about being a Mormon. By standing up for my faith.
