Hi I'm Tim

I am a married full-time student enjoying the sights and sounds of Hawaii. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 years old, as a full time student at Brigham Young University of Hawaii. I am a Business major with an emphasis in Finance. As an future entrepreneur I have used my love of sports to start an extremely small yet very entertaining business. Every summer I organize and coach a summer volleyball camp for Junior high and High school aged students. I enjoy giving youth an opportunity to learn and have fun. I am married to a wonderful wife, we have been married for less than a year, but we are enjoying every minute of it. Yes, even the normal struggles of life! I hope to raise a wonderful family and see my kids grow up to be wonderful people. I plan on retiring as early as possible so that I can enjoy time with my family traveling and having wonderful experiences together.

Why I am a Mormon

This is a church where one is encouraged to study and learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Not just in the Old or New testament, but also in another testament of Jesus Christ called The Book of Mormon and the words of the living prophets today. This is exceptionally wonderful because as I see the world in this day and age, I see a world with a lot of questions. Questions that are hard to answer, some questions are so personal that they must be answered from within. I have had many questions throughout my life, and I am a Mormon today because I have had every single question answered through prayer and searching the words of the prophets.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being active! I enjoy going to church every Sunday, listening to the speakers speak on significant topics. I enjoy reading and studying from the scriptures. When I was still living at home, my family would get together every Monday for what we called "Family Home Evening", we would sing songs, pray, have a gospel lesson, and play games. It was a great! I hope to continue that with my own family as well. Prayer is also a major part of my life, as I struggle though events in my life or when I feel the need to thank my Heavenly Father, I enjoy praying to him-letting him know what I need help with or what I am particularly grateful for. That is how I live my Faith.
