Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a student, an equestrian an avid baker and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student trying to get my bachelors in Biology. I work in a veterinary hospital right now and love it. I hope to go to veterinary school to become a large animal vet. I ride and compete in the sport of eventing on my horse, Samson, nothing makes me happier than being on my horse. I am obsessed with baking. I bake things every week and loving taking treats to people. I also play the cello and just love all music, whether its playing it, singing, or just listening to it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough in my life to be born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents are both members, married in the temple and my dad baptized me when I was eight years old. I grew up in a community surrounded by members of the church so I guess that made it "easy" to stay in the gospel but as I've grown up and moved to college I've seen what happens when you don't live the gospel. I've seen people I love fall away from the gospel and lose their testimony and I see how unhappy they have become. I stay in this gospel because I know that it is true. It makes me happy. When I feel scared or alone, I know I can always turn to the Lord for comfort and peace. I know that when I make mistakes that I can be made clean again through repentance. The atonement is real, Jesus Christ died for me and everyone on this earth so that we could return to our Heavenly Father. Christ's path truly is the easiest path to take, I've seen this in my life and in the life of loved ones. I know that this is the true church and Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he loves me. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet today and that Joseph Smith truly did see God the Father and his son Jesus Christ and that through revelation he restored this church on earth. I know that I can be with my family for eternity and that makes me so incredibly happy. I love this gospel, it brings me happiness and light. These things I know are true.

How I live my faith

I just try to live the gospel everyday, not just Sunday. When I am with friends or coworkers not of my faith, I just try to be an example and live the gospel the best that I can. I don't have to be converting everyone to my faith, just living it.
