Hi I'm Heidi

I'm a wife and a mother of six children. I love life...and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My family and I love the outdoors. We love camping in the mountains, riding quads at the Sand Dunes, and eating kettle corn on Sunday nights while we watch a good movie. I love to cook and try new things. One of the greatest parts of my life is my passion for music. I have been playing the piano since I was seven. I also love to sing and play the violin (on occasion). Someday I hope to be a great photographer. For now, my first and greatest priority is my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. I know that He is our Savior and Redeemer. I know that He Atoned for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. I know that he was resurrected and that He lives! I have felt his arms wrapped around me many times throughout my life. I am a Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he translated the Book of Mormon so that we could have it in these Latter days. One of the greatest blessings of being a member of our church is having the blessing of eternal families. I am so thankful for Temple marriages and that I have the opportunity to be with my loved ones who have died. I know that I must live a worthy life and keep the commandments in order to have this blessing. My sister and her husband were killed in a terrible car accident in 2001. They had a 2 year old daughter that lived. My husband and I adopted her. Because her parents were sealed in God's Temple, they will be together again someday. One year later my father passed away at an early age. My mom and dad were also married in the Temple and they will be able to be together forever in the next life. Families are forever! I couldn't imagine not being a Mormon and not having this gift from our Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has testified to me many times that this church is true! I will continue to be a Mormon because of the happiness that I receive each and every day when I do the things that I know are right.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith through serving in Jesus Christ's church. Right now I'm serving as the Primary Chorister. I love teaching the children ages 4-12, songs about our Savior and His church. I am a Visiting Teacher. That means that I have an assignment to visit sisters in our church every month. It's my privilege to make sure that their needs are being met and that they are well and happy. I have a strong testimony of service to others! I strive each and every day to be aware of those around me and to help those who are in need. I know that lives are blessed when we serve.
