Hi I'm Charity

I was born and raised in Utah. I worked in Disneyland, and I'm attending a university. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a runner. I'm passionate about health without jumping off the deep end. I eat sugar and butter, but I keep motivating myself to work out and do the best I can to stay emotionally and physically fit and healthy. I love Disneyland and the joy felt there. I find that joy, not necessarily through the actual park, but through all the families and happiness experienced by the guests. I love seeing families enjoying time together, and I love having the knowledge that comes from this gospel that family relationships do not end here on earth, but can be eternal. I am currently attending a university studying Family Life with an emphasis in Human Development. Someday I hope to help families find that same peace and joy that I knew while growing up in my home. I'm learning, not only in class, but through observation of people around me. I hope that one day I will be the kind of mother my mom was for me; patient, caring, kind, and always showed so much love. I'm not a feminist, but I do believe in equality. I believe that men and women have separate, but equal roles in this life. Women may certainly work to help provide all the necessities in life, but I believe that her role is that of mother - the most divine calling any woman can have. She loves her family, supports her husband, and raises their children. I believe in The Family: A Proclamation to the World. If you have any questions, please ask me!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but that doesn't mean I've been a blind follower all my life. I've had questions about the Church, and I've studied them out and prayed for the answers. I know this Church to be true. When I pray, I know that I'm not just speaking to the wall. I know that my Father in Heaven is listening to me and that He will help me in any challenges I face. I know that the Book of Mormon and the Holy Bible are the true Word of God. They go hand-in-hand to testify that Jesus is the Christ.

How I live my faith

Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be difficult at times. We are told to love our enemy and to give all we have to those who are in need. I do try with all my might. I love to give random acts of service, and I try to help people each and every day wherever I can. It's not about doing huge service projects once in a while, but about reaching out in small means constantly. I know that the greatest love I feel is when people notice the little things, so I try to do the same. I have chosen to re-dedicate my life to the Lord. Although I am not serving a full-time mission, I am here serving the people around me. I work hard to find ways to spread the gospel where so many already have experienced it in their own lives. I love my family, and I try each and everyday to be an example to the little ones who surround me. I love this Gospel! I know it's true, and I know that one day we will return to live in the presence of God alongside those who we make relationships and covenants with here on earth. I know that families are not something we have only here on earth, but family bonds will continue forever, throughout all eternity.
