Hi I'm Heather

I'm a wife, I'm an aerobics instructor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy-go-lucky little girl at heart. I love to ride bikes, ski, and teach aerobics (especially Pilates). I love to be outside. I love to take naps and eat graham crackers and milk. I am a new wife with a wonderful husband who makes me smile and laugh everyday. I am a sister and best friend. I love to be with the people I love doing an activity outside or playing in the sun. I am a red head who can be sassy, but mostly is kind and loving to all. I studied Health Science in college and love helping people with their personal fitness and life goals. I'm an optimist who sees the good in people and life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of many reasons, but one is because I know that the Book of Mormon is true. That is how I found out that anything about the Mormon church is true, is because I read the Book of Mormon and had the Spirit bear a very strong witness to me that it is true. I remember the exact night that I was lying on my bed reading from the Book of Mormon in 3 Nephi chapter 17. I remember feeling so strongly that Jesus Christ was my personal Savior and that He loves me more than I can comprehend. I knew that after His death He had come as a resurrected Christ to the people of the American continent and taught them and blessed them. And I also knew at that moment that my Heavenly Father knew me and loved me, and sent a Savior to die for me so that I could return and live with them again someday. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me. I know that they have a plan for my life. I know that if I keep their commandments I can return and live with them someday. I know that these things are true, because I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. And you can also know these things for yourself if you read the Book of Mormon and ask in sincere prayer if it is true. This knowledge is available to everyone who has a sincere desire to know and act.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best I can every day. I do my best to help the women in our church by fulfilling the mission of the women's organization or Relief Society which is to: strengthen their testimony of Jesus Christ, help them strengthen their homes and families, and help to serve those in need. I am in charge of monthly activities that the women of our church go to, which is a lot of fun! We learn new skills, we socialize and laugh, and mostly we feel a renewed strength to keep going, and keep trying to be better. I also live my faith by trying to be a kind wife, by keeping love and harmony in our home. I live my faith by praying and reading the scriptures everyday. I live my faith by trusting in the Lord when things don't go exactly how I planned. I live my faith by being a light and a joy to be around. I try and live my life in a way that by being around me I make people feel better about themselves. These are a few ways that I live my faith.
