Hi I'm Jessie

I grew up in a small town. I Married a city boy and started a family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town and am still great friends with those I grew up with. I went to school across the country and loved the experience of seeing so many different cities of our great country. I also played softball for my school and hope to continue the sport til my body says no. I'm married and have two wonderful children. Being a mother is the best but also the hardest thing I've ever done.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family, but by the time I was in high school, I was the only member of my family going to church. I knew how I wanted to live my life and though my family chose a different path, I continued on what I knew I wanted. I wanted to have a close relationship with my Savior and my Heavenly Father. Now that I'm a mother, I see even more the hand of our Heavenly Father in our lives here on earth. The bringing of life into the world is the most beautiful creation, and I'm so grateful for his plan and love for all of his children.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday with my family. We spend one night a week having "Family Home Evening" where we sing, pray, have a lesson, and play. In my church, I work with the young children. Every Sunday, I get to sit with them and watch them learn and interact with eachother. Occasionally I get the opportunity to teach them and love to hear how they see things.
