Hi I'm Elizabeth

I'm a Daughter of God and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho, the third child of four. My Dad isn't a member but I was raised in the church thanks to my wonderful Mom. I have the best, most supportive family who has always been there for me. I played volleyball, basketball and golf in high school and now am a sophomore in college.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS Church my entire life, but recently really struggled with what I knew was true and right, and the easy way of life. I was lucky to grow up in a home with both of my parents, although my Dad isn't a member. In high school I very active in the church and had an amazing example to follow set by my older brother and sister. But I needed to know for me, that this church was His church. I needed my own testimony of the Gospel, and through a lot of trails I gained one. I fell away from the church for a few months, during which were the saddest and darkest of my life. I wasn't happy at all. I learned through these trials how sweet the atonement really is. I realized how forgiving, loving and merciful my Heavenly Father is. I know that He knows me, that I am His Daughter. I know that Jesus Christ died for me that I could return to live with my Heavenly Father. I gained a new appreciation for prayer, and I know that I can talk with my Father in Heaven through prayer. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know Joseph Smith restored the gospel and I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet who leads and guides this church today. I know my Heavenly Father loves me, and wants me to succeed, so much so that he gave me a second chance so that I will be able to return to Him someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. I am always a Mormon, not just on Sundays. I attend church meetings weekly. I pay tithing, and I attend the temple whenever able to. I am honest in my dealing, and strive to keep the Lord's commandments. I pray to my Heavenly Father and read my scriptures.
