Hi I'm Emily

I go to college. I love music and the outdoors and I want to travel the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a BYU college student from Washington state. I like to sing and play the piano. I love to play soccer and Ultimate Frisbee, and I love to hike and enjoy the outdoors. I love traveling the world and I recently spent a semester studying abroad in Jerusalem, Israel. My dream in life is to be a stay-at-home mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I thank the Lord for it every day. My family has taught and directed me in the way of the gospel from the very beginning and it has shaped who I am today. I love this gospel and my Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart. Who would I be without it? I have had many experiences where my testimony has been confirmed and strengthened, many of which happened while I lived and learned in Jerusalem. Walking on the streets He walked, praying where He prayed, and living what He taught changed my life. I can never go back to mediocrity. I can never deny what my Savior did for me and how it has effected my life for the better. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many different ways. I go to church every Sunday and participate by playing the piano for the choir. I help the women of our ward plan activities that enrich our lives, strengthen out testimonies, and strengthen our friendships. I live my faith personally every day by reading my scriptures and praying to my Heavenly Father. I live a clean and virtuous life according the commandments given to our Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, from the Lord.
