Hi I'm Bekah

I've lived in 12 different cities, 5 states & 2 countries. I'm a loving wife and a stay-at-home mommy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother. My husband and I have been married for 7 1/2 years. We have a beautiful little girl and a sweet dog. I have a BA in Communications and currently work in the clinical research industry. When our little one was born I knew I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom and feel blessed to be able to work from home as well. I love picnics at the park, walking, eating cupcakes and playing the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by my parents. When I was 14 I had the opportunity to go to EFY (Especially for Youth) at BYU. During that week, I challenged myself to read and ponder the scriptures, as well as, to pray to God and ask him if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I received an answer to my prayers, not in a big spectacle way but in a simple, sweet and powerful confirmation of the Holy Ghost. I felt love, joy and happiness in my mind and my heart and I knew the church to be true. I bear my testimony that I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he lives. I am grateful for the atoning sacrifice he has made that I may repent of my sins so I may return to him and my Heavenly Father one day. I have a testimony of the scriptures, the Bible and The Book of Mormon. I know the words to be true. I have a testimony of the words in hymns, that we may sing praises in our Saviors name. I’m grateful for eternal families and the covenants I have made that I may be sealed to my family forever. I love my Heavenly Father and his Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ and hope to always seek to know Him. I'm grateful for my testimony and the opportunity to share it around the world. The gospel brings joy and light to all those who seek it.

How I live my faith

Though I am not perfect, I try to seek to know Christ so it may bring me closer to Him. I try my best to live my life in a way to mimic His, that I may be the best example for my daughter of Christ-like love. I believe in sharing my faith through example. I use clean language, have strong morals, and try to love and respect others. I try my best to do what is right and I know I stumble a lot but that's the best thing about the gospel, you can always get back up and learn from your mistakes.
