Hi I'm Stuart Campos

I was born in Lima, Perú. I was baptized in when was 12 years old. I served a fulltime mission in the Chile Rancagua Mission.

About Me

(I hope this was not meant to be in Spanish) I study chemical engineering (it's not as horrible and hard as you think); I consider myself as a pacifist and maybe even an idealist (though I know that perfection can't be achieved here on Earth), but I like to give my best on the things that are of most interest to me =) I love symphonic music (I don't know why, I just like it a lot), board games, and watching good movies =) I think that's pretty much the essential thing about me.

Why I am a Mormon

Because a great family was brave enough to share the gospel with me when I was just an eleven year-old child. I learned the principles and treasured them in my heart. I took heed to the words of the missionaries and I felt it was true, all of it (you may say that I was just a child, but I know the way I felt, and I can tell that it doesn't matter how old you are to feel what is true and what is not). Nowadays, I still feel in my heart that conviction, that JesusChrist is my Savior and my Redeemer, and that the Church of JesusChrist of Latter Day Saints is His church, guided by a real prophet of the Lord.

How I live my faith

We (the youth) usually go together to a community service; for example, the last one was helping to reconstruct some wooden houses that ware consumed by a fire in a poor sector of our neighboorhood; we felt good by doing so (and had some fun as well) We also serve inside the church, in my case, I teach the gospel principles to the men for an hour two sundays per month; we participate and teach each other (it's not like "I'm the teacher and there's no way I can be wrong", you know....) When I can think of something else to put here, I will... I guess that's it for now =) - have a nice experience through mormon.org =)

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Stuart Campos
The way I got to know this was true was through the Book of Mormon; read it prayerfully and pray about it. Talk to the missionaries, they will guide you in your search for an answer (but the answer won't come from them, but from God) Be patient, and grow the desire within yourself to find the truth, and not just something that fits your lifestyle =) Show more Show less
