Hi I'm Brittany Freestone

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently, I'm a senior at university studying exercise and wellness. I love learning about the body and how incredible it is. I want to be able to help people use their bodies to the best of their ability. I'm an earth lover. There is few better feelings then looking out to the mountains, the sun setting, or the freshly fallen snow. My favorite days involve those when I'm outside all day in the sun and fresh air. I also love sports. Football is what I was raised on. I love Europe, especially Italy and had the amazing opportunity to live there for a few short months. And most importantly, I have an amazing family and incredible friends that makes me who I am today. My life isn't exactly all that I planned, if it was, I would not be who I am today but I am grateful for every hard thing and experience that I have had to face. All of these things have taught me who I am, who I can rely on, and who I need to be for the future.

Why I am a Mormon

When I really think about why I am Mormon, one word comes to mind. Hope. Just like everyone else, my life hasn't been easy. We all have times that bend us to the point we think we will break. But with all of the trials I have had in this life, I always have had something to turn to to give me strength and hope to press forward when I face hard things. That is my knowledge of my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. This gospel holds truths that continue to sustain my determination to press on. With this gospel, I have learned that we are never ever alone. We have someone who can always understand us, always comfort us, and always guide us. I am a Mormon because with this gospel I know that I can have an eternal life full of happiness with the ones that I love and I never once have to take a step alone. This feeling of comfort is one that we can all feel and experience. Being a Mormon makes it incredibly easy for me to find this hope in every aspect of my life.

How I live my faith

Every single day is an chance for me to live my faith. The biggest way that I try to live my faith is by how I treat every person that I meet or interact with. No matter if they are my roommate, nephew, cashier, or the person driving in front of me, I want them to be able to see that I believe in Jesus Christ and that I follow him. I want them to feel the love that I feel from him and that he is willing and ready to give to them. He is the greatest example of who we should strive to become. I am so grateful for my knowledge that he lives and wants us to live like him. This faith influences every single one of the choices that I make.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Brittany Freestone
The family is not just for here on earth. It is eternal. When we learn to live by principles of the gospel, we are given the blessings of an forever family. This is one of the most important beliefs to me. My father passed away in a car accident when I was younger. I couldn't not go on knowing that I would never see him again. But with the gospel, I know that I can not only see my father again, I can live with him forever. There is nothing better than knowing that our love is eternal. Show more Show less
