Hi I'm Ryan

I am a dental student. I love my family, the outdoors, and being a Mormon.

About Me

When I find time away from dental school I am with my family or in the outdoors fishing, hunting, and camping. I have been married for five years to the love of my life, and we are expecting our first child. We are very excited to be new parents. I love to travel, and most recently I went on a service learning trip with my school to Honduras to help families that could not afford dental treatment. My second home is Albania where I was able to be a missionary for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday-Saints because I know it is the church of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I have gained my faith by studying the words of God found in the Bible and The Book of Mormon and feeling the warm feelings of the Holy Ghost testifying to me that the words I am reading are the truth. I know that Joseph Smith saw and spoke with God the Father and Jesus Christ. I also know that through Joseph Smith our Father in Heaven restored the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth after being lost for centuries. I know that my Church is led by a prophet and apostles that are guilded by Christ to help me and my family find happiness and peace in this life. I know that the Atonement and love of Jesus Christ provides the path by which each of us can be saved and live eternally with our families and loved ones. I was raised by loving parents with amazing faith. They tought me to pray as a small child to pray and I know my prayers are heard and answered. I know that God lives and loves us and wants nothing more than for each of us to be happy. The greatest happiness that can be found is by living the gosple of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I am able to find ways to serve and help others feel the love of our Savior. Currently I serve as a secretary for my Bishop helping schedule appointments and interviews. In the past I have been able to teach sunday school classes to children, adults, and serve a two year mission in Albania preaching the gospel and doing community service.Serving has helped me to learn who I really am, and what this life is all about.
