Hi I'm Robin

I live to laugh. I love the earth. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Arizona State, and I am going to be a scientist. I work hard but like to play Dr. Mario after a good day's work. I grew up in upstate New York and was raised as a Missouri Synod Lutheran. Once college started though, I began to question the practices and logic in the church, and as many college students do, I sort of fell out of the fellowship. After years of planning on, "one day," being more religiously active, I was invited to attend a church service by my new boyfriend and I accepted. Things just went from there and I took the missionary lessons with an open mind and heart--and here I am now.

Why I am a Mormon

Every question (whether theological, doctrinally based, or silly) are answered through the teachings of this church. I never have to wonder why certain practices are done because there is an answer to it all. Spiritually and emotionally, I feel connected to this church and to everyone who is a part of it.

How I live my faith

Serving in my community (school/church/work) is one of the key ways to show others how I live my faith. I like to think of community service as just being a good person. If I see someone who is walking and the wind blows papers out of their hands, I help pick them up. It's really not difficult to put myself into other people's shoes and think of what I would appreciate a kind stranger to do for me.
