Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a stay-at-home mom. I love to cook. I make crochet animals. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay-at home mom of a 6 week boy. I love to cook, I'm always trying new recipes. I like to make crochet animals. I love to take photographs, especially of nature. I play the flute and am self teaching myself the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger I started dance classes and the church we went to believed that dancing was evil. My mom started looking for a church that had beliefs that alined with the Bible better (because she knew Danel danced to praise the Lord). I was active in the new church for years and loved it, however I started to notice this additude of do whatever and repent later. I didn't think that fit into God's plan according to the Bible, so I started looking to see if there was a church that followed the Bible. When I started learning about the Church of Jesus Christ I didn't think it did but one night the Spirit taught me that they did follow the Bible and that I had been taught and believed things that didn't line up with what was in the Bible. I've since changed my views to be in line with God and His Scriptures and that is why I'm a Mormon!

How I live my faith

One of my favorite things about the Church is that no one gets paid in the Church and we all have our parts to do. Currently I help teach the 5 year old children, but I have in the past taught the women's class, been a full-time missionary, helped plan activities for young single adults and did some DJing for young single adult dances.
