Hi I'm Sister Lisa Blood

I'm a friend, I'm a singer, I'm a pianist, I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! My name is Lisa Blood! Lately people call me Sisita Toto (Sister Blood in Tongan). I love being with my friends and family. I was born and raised in Arizona and I love it there! There are six people in my family: my parents, two brothers William and James and my little sister, Rebekah. Being the oldest is a lot of fun and even though it can get rough, I wouldn't change it. I am currently serving as missionary in the Oakland/San Francisco, California mission and I am serving in the Tongan program! I have loved learning the language as well as the culture as I serve my brothers and sisters!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have enjoyed the blessings of it all my life. I am a Mormon because I love it with all my heart. The gospel, the people and the pure joy of it all. The promises of this church are amazing. I am a true romantic. The promise of a happily ever after for eternity is such a blessing. I cannot wait to be the princess in a white gown and getting married for time and all eternity! I am a Mormon because I could not see myself living any other way. My life would not be the same without the light that the gospel brings into it or the knowledge that my Savior knows me and died for me so that I could live with Him and God again with my family. Knowing that I am a child of a loving Heavenly Father is a blessing I couldn't do without!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching it! As a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint, I have the opportunity to teach anyone and everyone about this wonderful gospel that we have! I love being able to be on the streets or with members or our investigators being example to anyone who sees. One of my favorite things to do is talk to people! They don't have to accept it, the part I love most is inviting them into a family who will love them no matter what their background is. That is what is so great about the gospel, no one cares where you are from.. because we know who we are and where we are going! It is such a blessing! I live my faith by loving it and sharing it wherever I go!
