Hi I'm Heather.

I am a wife and mother of one.

About Me

I am a typical wife and mother. I am currently working to complete my degree in Health Science. I enjoy spending time with family, reading, college football and the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I knew from a very young age that going to church made me feel good, but I didn't simply except what was being taught to me, I searched it out for myself. I gained my testimony by reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know if it was true. I found that it is true and from there my testimony grew. I have come to know that Joseph Smith saw God and that he restored God's truth to the earth. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and the only way that we can return to live with our Father in Heaven again. I know that life is eternal. I know that families can be forever. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today. I know God the Father and Jesus Christ live and that this is their church. I have been so very blessed in every single aspect of my life because of the knowledge that I have of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings on Sunday where I teach the Young Women in my ward. I try to live the gospel by just doing what I know my Father in Heaven would want me to do. I am always happier when I do his will.

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Yes! It is so wonderful to me to know that Jesus Christ not only appeared to people in the "old world" after he was crucified, but also to some of the inhabitants of the America's.I love to read this part of the Book of Mormon, because it brings me so much happiness. I can answer yes to this question without hesitation because I have received a witness of it's truth by reading the Book of Mormon and then praying about it. Show more Show less
