Hi I'm Megan

I'm a student. I'm hopeful. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Megan. I'm a young adult. I love to learn, and I'm in college. My favorite subjects are history, literature, economics. I love music, and I play three instruments. I'm best at Violin mediocre at Piano and decent on Flute. I love math. I love the outdoors and outdoor sports including: rock climbing, hiking, water skiing, snow boarding, and surfing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because I know it's true. When you grow up in a certain religion there comes a time when you must decide for yourself what you believe. I seriously considered what it is that I believe to be true. I realized that nothing else is as true as this is. God loves us. He wants the best for us, and if we listen to Him, He will lead us to happiness. He gives us peace, happiness, and strength in our lives. All we need to do is seek for God in our lives. The guidance and direction He gives us He gives out of love. I know that if we follow God's guidance he will ultimately lead us to happiness and peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. My faith is a way of life. Every decision is guided by my faith and beliefs. I am not perfect; nobody is. But, if we show our faith by our Christ like love and our sincere desire to be the best friend, sister, and person we can be then we will be blessed with peace and joy.

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

The members of the church give their time and talents to serve in the church. As we serve in our callings we serve each other. When we serve each other we learn to love each other and look outside of ourselves. Show more Show less
