Hi I'm Like

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a PhD student studying Food Science. As a scientist, I enjoy learning and exploring. Outside school, I love playing sports, traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends. I smile a lot, and always enjoy making people around me laugh. I love my family very much. They love me and support me unconditionally.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. I was good friend with a church member. Because of the great example of that friend, I had the desire to learn more about the church. I valued what was taught and what I learned through the discussions with the missionaries. Furthermore, I recognized the truths in the gospel so I decided to be baptized. Being a member of the church has been a great blessing in my life. Through this gospel, I have come to understand what true happiness is, who I am, and most importantly, the purpose of my life. I am grateful for this gospel, for the light and hope it brings to my life and for how it changes my life and shapes me so I can strive to be the best I can.

How I live my faith

I read scriptures and pray often to seek guidance to help me make better choices and accomplish what I need to accomplish in my life. We all walk a unique path in our own lives. Hard times and trials are inevitable. However, I have learned that by following the commandments and being obedient, we can live a happy life and stay strong in our faith despite what we have to go through. I love sharing the knowledge that I have of this gospel with people around me to help them find true happiness in their lives. Also, I find strength through admiring the beauty of this earth and the universe because they always remind me of the divine creation and helps me to remember that I am a child of God.
