Hi I'm Jessica

I love the outdoors. I'm a college graduate. I've been a Mormon since birth.

About Me

I work full time at a veterinary hospital. I love animals and medicine. I believe that helping people help their pets is so rewarding and worth it. I also love being outdoors! Hiking, biking, running, swimming, etc! I'm the only girl in a family with 4 brothers, so I always had to be adventerous to keep up with them. I've done some crazy things, like parachuting off the Alps, scuba diving in the Carribbean, traveling to several countries and I've enjoyed every minute of it! But some of my most favorite memories are laughing and playing games with my family and cousins at home.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a mormon and living in Utah I was surrounded by members, so naturally I followed the teachings of my parents. But that doesn't mean I never questioned the faith or made the decision to continue being a mormon as an adult on my own. There came a point where I had to ask myself if I truly believed what I was being taught. So I did. I prayed to God, I studied both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I listened to speakers and I talked with friends of other religions. I have learned many things so far in my life, and one thing I can say for sure is that there is a God and His son, Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World. I got my answer and knowing that I am loved by Heavenly Father has brought me happiness and hope. I'm a Mormon because this is what we are taught and I believe that it is a hundred percent true.

How I live my faith

I am a part of a single's ward, where I am around many people of my age and lifestyle. We have many social activities that vary in different types of service, physical activities and mingles. It is so much fun! I have been able to make good friends and learn from many diverse people. I love hearing about the different backgrounds and conversion stories that come with such a varied group.
