Hi I'm Martin

I'm an artist, I'm a soccer player, I'm a boxer, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

i was born in Mexico. moved up to the states at 2 yrs with my parents. I was born catholic. I'm supper chill, like to hang out with the friends and people that i don't know. i grew up playing every sport known to man, but my primary sports are soccer and boxing. played varsity soccer in high school and won state. i also draw. I've been drawing ever since i can remember. took 2 years of the Art Instruction School in Seattle Washington. also stared in a art show, me being the leading artist. I've done a lot with my life, even somethings I'm not proud of. I've gone through addiction and had a rough life growing up. grew up with the wrong kind of people. i was baptized in to the LDS church a 8 yrs old but grew up inactive until a member of the young mens president from my ward helped me out and got my hole family active in the church again. Know I'm serving the lord in a full time mission in the Oregon Portland Mission " the Only Perfect Mission". I'm so great full for taking this decision in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because that is what i grew up being but i never new why. i just fallowed my parents example. the way they met the church was when we lived in Idaho right after we came from Mexico. almost all of the population in Idaho were members. my dad was working with a member of the church, he didn't know he was a member, but we were the only Hispanics in this small town. So my dads boss told him that he knew 2 guys that spoke Spanish that would be happy to talk with him. So not knowing he said yes, let them come over and visit with my family. Ends up they were missionaries. my dad always hid when they came over but my mom took it as an answer to her prayers. My mom got baptized in a month and my dad also later got baptized. Not to far in the future we moved back to Mexico and didn't go to church. Later we came back to the US and i eventually got baptized and 2 yrs later, we went inactive. (for personal reasons). Soon after that, we decided to move to Washington to get away from all that. but eventually some members found out where we lived and started to visit with us. I was the reason that they visited me more, to get me out of the things that i was doing. so when i was around 15 or 16 i came to some activities for the young mens and later after like 2 years we were active again. if it wasn't for the gospel of Jesus Christ, I don't know where would have been right know.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in the Oregon Portland Mission. its the best decision's that i have made for my life. i can see the many blessing from serving the lord. I've seen peoples life change by choosing to apply the gospel in their families and lives. My dad is the second counselor our Spanish branch in Seattle. they have received all the blessing for fallowing in the foot steps of Christ.
