Hi I'm James

I'm a Mormon. I was a competitive dancer for 12 years. I love sports and someday hope to run a special needs basketball camp.

About Me

I am the oldest of 5 children. I was a competitive ballroom dancer for 12 years. I am a student studying Special Education. I love sports, especially basketball, and hope to coach high school basketball while I am teaching. One of my main goals is to someday run a series of basketball camps for children with physical and mental disabilities.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in a LDS family, I was always around the church. When I was 18 years old, I decided I needed to find out for myself whether or not I believed what I had been taught. Through hours of prayer and scripture study, both from the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I finally felt the Holy Spirit tell me that the church is true. I have never been happier or led a more fulfilling life than the times when I am living the Gospel. This tells me that what I am doing is correct.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others how a LDS person should be. I try to be Christlike in all my dealings with all who come in contact with me. I want people to feel comfortable with asking me questions about my faith and not feel like I am preaching to them. I serve in any way I can, whether it be by going on camp outs with the young men or just visiting a sick person nearby.
