Hi I'm Lisa

I'm a desert rat from Arizona, I love the outdoors, I'm a photographer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of two darling kids who love to challenge me every day. I love a good hike, kayaking down the river, and would love to camp every weekend if I could. I love education and seek to learn new things often. Right now, I study all that I can about photography, videography and well.... patience. Is that a topic?

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon. My parents learned about the Gospel just a few short years before I was born. I grew up in the Gospel and felt comforted knowing where I came from and where I am going. In high school, my testimony wasn't challenged but I was determined to gain a burning knowledge and affirmation of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I read, studied, and prayed and gained exactly what I was after... Not only did I learn to rely on the Lord and have faith that my prayers will be answered, but through study came knowledge. There is much more to learn, but I feel it and I know it-that this church and its teachings are true. I am a Mormon because it brings me happiness, it brings me comfort and joy and it brings me knowledge of eternal families, repentance, hope and so much more... Being a member of this church helps me strive each day to do my best so that I may live with Him again.

How I live my faith

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we have opportunities to serve in our community. By serving, I am strengthened. I work with the youth in our ward. I have had different callings over the years but I sure love working with the Young Women (girls ages 12-18) -teaching them and learning from them. I also live my faith by trying to teach my children about the Gospel, about Christ, about prayer and about Joseph Smith.
