Hi I'm Wil

I like to smile. I love sports. I'm a dyslexic runner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which was a childhood dream of mine. I am served in the California Anaheim Mission Spanish speaking. I am studying at BYU. I am a runner and love to run, obviously. It relaxes me and allows me to be the happy person I want to be. I am also dyslexic. So that made running track a little hard because I might have done a few right turns... I love to smile, I especially love to smile at people. When you smile at someone you see this light go off in them and their confidence just grows. Those moments really make my day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, both of my parents are active members. Through them setting up an environment where I was able to grow, I was able to come to my own conclusion whether the gospel of Jesus Christ and His restored church is true. And it is. Looking back I can't just point out a time where I never knew Jesus wasn't my Savior. And I contrubute that to my parents. My parents are the most honest people I have ever met, knowing they were not liars and I trusted them. Nevertheless, do not think I only believe this because of my parents, through much prayer and fasting, I know with all my heart, that Christ is my Savior. That Joseph Smith did restore His gospel on the Earth and that we have a modern day prophet on the Earth today, Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

I served a mission for the Church. Even though I am not a full time missionary, I am still serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I do so with a smile. I love serving the Lord. I have never found so much joy in my life. I have found the Lord give me challenges in my life so I can grow. Once I figured that out, I haven't really had very many hard days, just some days are more challenging than others. I know that has allowed me to serve the way I want to serve with a smile.
