Hi I'm Sam

I Love cars and learning new things. I'm full of curiosity and sarcasm and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a normal guy who likes normal guy things. I'm pretty obsessed with cars and everything about them. I like to go camping and be outdoors. I enjoy shooting guns and hanging out with friends. I'm studying Mechanical Engineering in college and I hope to someday work designing cars. I like to learn new things and understand how things work. I am currently away from school, family, and friends for two years to serve the Lord by helping others grow closer to Him in Indianapolis, Indiana. I like to be happy and I get happier when I see others become happy as well. I'm a good lsitener and try to always help people with their problems.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up always going to church and never had any serious doubts. I never had reason to. My life has been so full of blessings from God and I have seen those blessings grow as I tried harder to be obedient to Him and I saw them go down as I distanced myself from Him. Of course I had to put forth my own effort in study and prayer to gain spiritual convictions that what I had been taught was right and true. Through living the commandments and much study of the Bible and Book of Mormon, I can say without reservation that I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and that everything taught within it is true and from God. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He died for me. I know that I am following the path of life He wants me to follow and as I continue on I will recieve all that He wants for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. I am currently serving what we as Latter Day Saints call a mission. For two years I am in Indiana to share my testimony of the Truth of Jesus Christ's Restored Gospel with everyone I can. I have the wonderful opportunity to invite all to 'come and see' and know for themselves that this is true. I also live my faith by my daily commitment to being as Christ-like as possible. I strive to chose the right in all situations and help others the way Christ would if He were there with me. I seek to keep His commandments even when no one else is watching or around me. My faith helps me in every situation of life. It influences how I react to problems and how I am always working to become a better person. Because of my faith I strive to have patience, humility, and love for all people. My faith makes me who I am.
