Hi I'm Lindsey

I'm a wife and mother. I'm a business owner. I love spending time with family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Iowa and raised in Arizona. Sports and dance were a big part of my life growing up. In college I played volleyball and went on to study Interpreting for the Deaf. I met my husband on a blind date. We've been happily married for 13+ years and have 3 awesome children. I'm a bookkeeper for our business and a stay-at-home mom. Both jobs keep me very busy! I enjoy spending time with our family, reading, and exercising (when I have time).

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents taught my siblings and I the Gospel through example, as well as instruction. I've always known the Church was true and never had a desire to stray from its teachings. When I moved away to college my testimony was put to the test day after day. I was on my own for the first time and able to choose for myself whether or not I would attend church each week and continue living the standards of the Church. I knew that what I'd been taught my entire life was true and that there was safety and happiness in staying close to those principles. I feel so blessed to have a knowledge of God's plan--to know where I came from, why I'm here, and what I need to do to return to Him again with my family. It is a privilege and sacred responsibility to be a mother--to have the opportunity to raise our children in the Church and to teach them about their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Living the Gospel has brought joy, direction, and purpose to my life. This knowledge doesn't make me exempt from trials and challenges--those are a part of life. But I know that Heavenly Father loves me. He hears and answers my prayers. I have faith in His plan for me and know that the things I learn from the difficulties of life can bring me closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to provide service in the Church through "callings" since I graduated from high school. I've spent the majority of my adult life working with the children each Sunday in the Primary organization. I love being able to spend time with the kids, teaching them, getting to know them, and watching them grow in their Gospel knowledge. I'm also a Visiting Teacher in the Church's organization for women, which gives me the opportunity to visit other women in their homes on a monthly basis (or more often if needed) to form friendships, teach, and assist them. My Heavenly Father has blessed my life tremendously for trying to diligently fulfill my callings and serve His children.
