Hi I'm Nanci

I'm a Mormon. A mom, a wife and a friend.

About Me

I love being with my family. I have two children ages daughter 13 and son 15. As you can imagine they keep me very busy. I love to help them with their many talents. We love music in our home and all play an instrument and and love to sing. We love family outings which include hiking, camping and spending time out doors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family who were baptized in the mormon religion. However neither my mom or dad went to church. I remember going to primary and Sunday school with other members of the church as a child. I didn't go to church all the time just off and on throughout my life. It was hard to go with inactive parents. It wasn't tilll I grew up and was married that I began to feel empty. I had a wonderful husband and children but needed more. I searched other religions but they left me empty. I felt as if I didn't belong. I was yearning form something. I found what I was missing was the gosple of Jesus Christ. I came back to the church and have been very active and happier then I have ever been. I know that our Hevenly Father loves me and that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I have a true testimony of his love for us and for the atonement.

How I live my faith

I am very active in our community with the childrens activities. I am a co-leader for my daughters Girl Scout troop, Member of my sons band booster club, and active in both schools PTSA. I love attending church functions and help on committees in the church. I love the way that everyone is kind and loving and we are like one huge family. I love visiting others in the church and helping with what ever their needs may be. We as a family help with community projects that the church organizes such as helping clean the washes, paint houses and clean neighborhoods that are in need of repair. We hold family home evening once a week and have scripture study daily as a family. I enjoy knowing that no matter how busy we are during the week we always set aside the time to have our weekly family time and love sruding the word of God each morning.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

I appriciate and admire all he has done for the church. I know it was hard for him and his family. I know he suffered so much to bring the church to us. He was a strong man and choose a strong wife to stand by his side. I know he had trials that no one this day could go through. Show more Show less
