Hi I'm Norman

I'm a Mormon. I am 65 years old and am a Widower.

About Me

My wife and I were married for 45 years and have 6 children and 20 grandchildren. The knowledge that I can be with my sweet wife again helps me bear my loneliness. We were sealed in the Temple and will be husband and wife for all eternity. This gives me peace and comfort. With her and my children, we will have a heaven I want.

Why I am a Mormon

The spirit of the Lord has touched my heart so that I know his true church has been restored to the earth. Through the prophets and additional scriptures, I have learned more about where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. I know the I am loved and can return to my Heavenly Father if I keep the commandments and covenants I have made in the Temple. This is why I am so happy.

How I live my faith

I am willing to serve in any capacity that the Lord and my leaders call me to. Presently I have been called to serve in the La Palma Prison Ministry. I go to the different prisons weekly and teach the inmates about Jesus Christ and the restoration of his church on earth. It is uncomfortable to enter through those gates, but once you have a room full of men that want to change their ways, it warms your heart. These men want to be forgiven and do what is right.
