Hi I'm Tamra

I grew up in southeast Idaho on a dairy farm, so I'm a farm girl at heart. I currently live in Indiana and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading, crafting, sewing, horses, the colors of fall foliage, snorkeling, snow skiing, traveling and exploring new places with my best friend and husband. I collect heart shaped rocks and clocks. I have 6 awesome kids who have blessed my life immensely. I believe adoption is a great way to grow your family and know from personal experience that you love a biological or adopted child the same.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family and taught the principles of His gospel throughout my youth. I found my eternal companion while at college and together we have continued to strive to live the commandments and follow the teachings of our youth in our married life. I love the family values our church offers and know I'm truly happier when I'm living as I've been taught. I love the personal relationship I have with my Father in Heaven and rely on support and strength from it.

How I live my faith

Living my faith to me means serving others and being involved and willing to offer support to those around me. I enjoy getting to know other women and their families and to be able to network with them to meet the demands of everyday life. Supporting others and having that support system can make a big impact on our outlook of life. I believe in the power of prayer and I know it can help us in any situation, I find much strength from it. Throughout my life I have had the opportunity to serve in the scouting organization and with the young children, the teenage young women and also the sisters my age and older. I have enjoyed it all. While serving I have learned, stretched, been strengthened and basically grown into a better person from those experiences. I try to be a good wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and example to others and to do better each day, I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve others - especially my family.
