Hi I'm Rebecca

I am a Christian, a wife, a mother of five children, a dancer, a choreographer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of five amazing children. They range in age from a 20 year old a college student to a 3 year old, with a high school senior, a 10 year old and an 8 year old. I have been blessed with the opportunity to raise a special needs daughter. She is beautiful, courageous, and a challenge. I love my full time job as a "mom". I have a part time job as a ballet instructor. I love ballet! My husband of 21 years is an airline pilot and and aviation insurance underwriter. I love to cook for my family, read, and travel with my kids. I always have an entourage when I'm in the airport!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Even with a good foundation, I had to gain a testimony on my own. As a young woman, I remember feeling the spirit testify to me of the truthfulness of the restored gospel. Through my efforts to study, pray and live righteously, I found strength in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I continue to find strength as I raise my own family, and keep a strong marriage, in a time where the world tries pull us away, with it's influences and distractions from that which is holy and sacred, especially our families. I have a testimony of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, as it was restored through Joseph Smith. I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

I pray everyday, and pray with my children. I teach a class once a month to the women of the church on gospel principles. I love this assignment! Recently, I was given the opportunity to choreograph for a Temple Cultural Celebration. Over 2000 young men and young women participated! My testimony of temples was increased. I am grateful to my Heavenly Father for my many blessings, and I feel the best way to show my gratitude is by trying to choose the right and live a Christ centered life everyday.
