Hi I'm Kim Dietrich

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member since 1989 and this Gospel has truly changed my life. I am married, and my husband is currently investigating the Church. I have a 28 year old daughter, an 11 year old son, and 3 precious grandchildren. I work as an Office Manager for a company in Indianapolis. I love this Church and everything it stands for. I know this Church is true and its members set a wonderful example to myself and my family. I have a strong testimony and love to share it with anyone who will listen.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home that did not go to church every Sunday. I remember we would go with my Grandparents on Easter. My Grandparents had a great influence on me as a child. They were such good people and their examples taught me about God and Christ. I remember as a small child, I was spending the night, and before bed they would get on their knees in their living room, and they would say their prayers, separately and aloud. I can still remember feeling this overwhelming power in the room with us. At that time, being so young, I did not understand what I felt, but now as a member of this wonderful Church, I know that it was the Holy Ghost. I have always believed in God and tried to find a church to belong to but I never felt comfortable in any that I tried. I thought there was something wrong with me. But then, in 1988, I was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My first visit, the congregation sang "I Believe in Christ". That same power was here that I felt as a child. I will never forget this. That song to this day is one of my favorites. This Church follows the same pattern as the Church did when Christ was on the earth. And it is so simple, there is nothing complicated, but yet it is so beautiful. God is not a God of confusion and if He talked to prophets in days of old, they why would He not do the same today?

How I live my faith

I do the best I can to live the Gospel and follow the commandments. By doing so, I am a much happier and secure person than I used to be. I teach a class in our Relief Society once a month. I have never liked getting in front of people, as I have always been shy. But I do love to talk about the Gospel! The ward we belong to in Brownsburg, Indiana, is truly our "ward family". It feels so good to be there among all the other members each week. There is a very strong Spirit. I love this Church and I am very grateful for the happiness it has brought myself and my family.
