Hi I'm Richard

Business, Bassoon, and Frisbee. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to meet new people and understand new cultures. Though I was born in California, I spent much of my youth travelling between Utah and California to spend time with both of my parents, who have been divorced since I was very young. I have since gained a love for travelling, and have grown to love learning about cultures and diversity. Growing up I have had a strong appreciation for music. Playing the bassoon and performing in Marching Band gave me great opportuinites to learn, grow, and serve, and were the reasons for most of my travellings to Europe and Asia. Most recently I have been living in London, England, serving as a full-time missionary. Perhaps my favourite thing that I've learnt whilst travelling and serving a mission is that we are all children of God. Though we are all unique, different, and have our own "isms", we all have some things in common; That is, we were created by a Father in Heaven who loves us and have the potential to be with Him someday. This is all possible through accepting and following the Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because Heavenly Father has answered my prayers. By personal revelation I have come to know that Jesus Christ is the Saviour and Redeemer of mankind, that our Father in Heaven has a plan for us, and that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God, along with the Bible. The knowledge of these simple truths brings me such immense joy and security, and establishes the foudation for the decisions I make in life.

How I live my faith

Living the faith to me means helping others. I find that its the best antidote for sadness. Do you ever feel sad, or discouraged? Find someone in need and make their day. I guarantee you'll feel better. It always works for me. I find that by trying to livie my faith in this way I am much happier, and so is everyone around me.
