Hi I'm Steve St. Thomas

I'm 27 years old, a father of two and have been married for 7 years. I'm an Athletic Trainer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two girls and have been married to my wife for 7 years. I am an Athletic Trainer and am currently getting my Masters degree in Athletic Training in Mesa Arizona. My family and I moved from Salt Lake City in 2010 where both my wife and grew up. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2009. I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in November of 2002 when I was 19 years old. I was married to my wife in the Salt Lake City Temple in December of 2003.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up not being a member of the church and I needed something to get me where I needed to be. Having grown up in Salt Lake City I obviously knew about the LDS Church. One night I was looking on the church website at all the different temples around the world. I have always thought the Temples were beautiful and magnificent buildings. While I was looking on the website I had a complete peace come about me. A peace I had never felt before. At the time I didn't know why I was having this feeling or what it even meant. I filled out a form to have the missionaries come to my house. The next day they came and answered all my questions and began to teach me about the church. While I was having these lessons, I soon began to have that same peace come over me. A feeling of comfort and something telling me that what I was doing was right. I asked the missionaries about this feeling. They explained to me that it was the Holy Ghost telling me that what I was hearing was true and right. I was baptized 3 weeks later! The church is true and Heavenly Father lives! I love that my family is sealed to me for all of time and eternity and that some day I will meet my father in heaven. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I participate in the church by being a home teacher, visiting with families in the ward and providing service when needed. I also teach the 13-14 year old youth in the ward on Sundays. I also provide service in the community and around the city.
