Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a dancer, an aunt, I love children and cute cuddly animals and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am not good at describing myself, so this is going to be a bit of a challenge. Hmmm...I am 29 and I am currently working on getting my teacher certification in secondary education. I would love to teach dance in a school one of these days. I love to choreograph and see my work with lighting and costumes and I love to perform. I have 2 older brothers and an older sister. They were born a year apart and then 13 years later I came along. I have 3 nieces and 1 nephew. I feel very blessed that I have had the opportunity to be a big part of their lives. I have watched them grow up and am so proud of their accomplishments. Most of my fondest memories come from the times I have spent with them. My favorite place to go is Disneyland. It makes me feel like a kid all over again. One of the people I admire most is my dad. He raised me with the help of my siblings. He hasn't had it easy and it amazes me to see his example of selflessness time and time again. I love my friends and am thankful for their uplifting and positive attitudes. I am enjoying living my life and meeting new people. I love being a member of the church and I am so thankful that I have the gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all my life, but there was a point where I hit a rough patch and had a lot of questions and doubts. My senior year of high school I gained my testimony when I felt the unconditional love of our Saviour Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for the atonement. It is such a wonderful blessing that our Heavenly Father loves us so much that he sent his son to atone for each and every one of us, and that through him we can become clean of our sins so that we can return to live in the presence of our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I was recently called as a visiting teaching district supervisor. It has given me an opportunity to get to know many of the sisters in the ward, and I am becoming more aware of the importance of visiting teaching. I had the opportunity to go through the Temple and receive my endowments on January 14th 2011. I love the Temple and I know that it is a piece of Heaven on this earth. I found out that I have family who need their work done and I look forward to doing their temple work.
