Hi I'm Raquel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student and am aspiring to study the Fine Arts and obtain a BFA. I love all types of art and I really enjoy art history. My favorite time period to study is the Renaissance and the Impressionists. I come from a family of 6 and I have 3 siblings including one older brother and two younger sisters. We love spending time together such as family road trips, camping, and just playing fun board and card games.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon becasue I have come to know through the power and influence of the Holy Ghost that I am a spirit daughter of a loving Heavenly Father, that I once lived with Him and His son, and that through the great sacrifice of the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can once again return to live with Him. I know that these precious truths were restored to the earth through our first prophet, Joseph Smith, when he humbly prayed and then saw both God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. I know that God continues to talk to us through Prophets and I will always sustain and follow his guidance because I know that he is God's mouthpeice. I know that that Book of Mormon is true as it is another testiment of Jesus Christ and there is such a powerful and peaceful spirit that always comes when I read and ponder the special pages in that book. I know Christ lives. And I know that His atonement is real and infinate to everyone. I'm so grateful for His life and His sacrifice and I feel forever indebted to Him. Because I know these things are true I want to live the best life that Christ would have me live. So, I'm a Mormon because I know that this church has the fullness of all truth and I want that to be apart of my life forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in various church meetings and activities. I strive to keep the commandments and standards that the Lord has required of me and I also try to live my life in a way that would please Him and show gratitude for the greatest blessing and gift of His son, Jesus Christ. I love being able to teach the gospel truths to others in church and ultimately learn and understand more about God's eternal plan of happiness for each of us.
