Hi I'm Annalissa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single woman that tries to live life to the fullest. I have hopes and dreams of being a wife and mother but in the mean time I am trying to enjoy my life and do the things that make me happy. I enjoy running. When my dear friend Kim passed away tragically I organized a 5K to remember her. I'm grateful for the peace the Savior brings to our lives when we are going through challenges. I like to travel and see the amazing places in our beautiful world. I have a wonderful parents and siblings who I love and I'm grateful for their support. I have the most amazing friends. They are kind and uplifting. The people that I love in this life help keep me going when the days are tough. They bring a smile to my face and fill my heart with love. I am truly blessed and try to count my blessings daily.

Why I am a Mormon

I have terrific parents who taught me about my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ when I was young. As a teenager I pondered the things I had been taught to determine if I had a testimony of the truthfulness of the church. I decided that I believed all the things I had been taught were good and uplifting and that it must be. When I prayed to know I always felt peace and comfort that reassured me. Later I served a mission in Venezuela where I met some amazing people and my testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints grew. I saw people become truly happy as they changed their lives and strove to follow our Saviors example.

How I live my faith

I attend church on Sundays with other singles my age. I have the opportunity to teach a class for the women in my church. I love to be with all of the amazing women there. They are beautiful, smart and have so much going for them. I learn so much from them as we have discussions in class. Teaching gives me the chance to ponder the scriptures more and have the spirit with me during my week. I also visit a couple of sisters in my ward on a monthly basis. We will have a short lessons and visit. It is nice to visit with them and make sure they are doing alright.
