A father of 7 children My wife is best friend. I am a multi-franchise owner father of a special needs daughter and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After working in the timber and construction industeries and I always had a disire to work for myself at 28 I started my own business with a new bride and a 7 year old son and 1 year old daughter. Now 30 years I am a multi franchise owner with two sons-in-law and son as partners here in spokane where our 6 and soon 8 (twins)grand childern. The reason for living here to be close to them. Our baby girl 19 has a genic disorder Anglemans syndrom. She has been a blessing to our family as our children grew up. Our sons and Daughters are the best with paticants kindness loving and were very helpful. We are emptness now execpt for our baby. With no speech, metal retarted and in dipers and needs 24/7 care. We feel we will provide for her care as long as we are able with help from our other family members.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a 6th generation member of the church. For some reason I fell away from the church when I was in late in my youth. I marrried at 19 and 6 short years later I found myself divioriced and lonley and incomplete. Living a life on self distruct and going nowhere. With bad habits and not able to look into a mirror I felt promped to reavaluate my life. I look to where I was at and the life I was living and then I looked at my parents. They were still married, full of unconditional love for me, clean, they looked clean. I had live a life in the fast lane where everyone was doing there own thing. Living hard, loving fast and even dying young. I felt there had to be more to life than what I was doing. So I went back to what my loving parents taught me and that was to pray and ask for help and for forgiveness from my Heavenly Father whom I had always knew was there even when I wasn't doing the things I should of been doing. He showed me the way back through people that truly cared about me. I call that time my flip flop or turning over a new leaf in my life. My family say a mighty change. Even when I was very young I knew that there was a God and that he loved me, but because of the way I was living that knowledge became blurry and foggy in my mine. When I started to clean up my life everthing became clearer and then I became stronger. I remarried to a beautiful daughter of our Heavenly Father that believed the same as i and we were blesses with 6 children in 11 years on the exact day. A lot can happen in 11 years. I know I am a better person because I am a member of Christs church. Because my loving, faithful parents example and teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ I am a better husband and father and that family is what its all about. I know through personal spiritual experences that God loves me and you and wants us to be happy in this life. That we can experence Joy if we just do what he asks us to do. To me It feels right.

How I live my faith

When we serve others we learn to love others. Isn't that what the Savior did? I know that my wife loves our children probably more than I because she has more time and oprotunities to serve them. and how lucky they are. There is nothing like a mothers love. I have been able to serve the young men in the church. I have watch them grow from small boys to young men over a weekend camping trip. I love watching that happen right before my eyes. I like teaching living skill, lifesaving skills, reconizing and feel the spirit of our Heavenly Father. To teach them to be leaders and to have a clean mouth and mind. Try to help them to make good choices. Most of all I try to set a good example for them. To show them that you can have fun without the bad things of the world. One thing my wife and I dicided to do for our childern early in our marriage was to create good memories for them and we did lots of things like camping, dates, backpacking and going to a cabin for Christmas, to the beach and family vacations. It was and still is great.

What is the priesthood?

Dennis Pace
The Priesthood can only use for someone else. I can't baptise myself, heal myself, lay my hands upon myself. The Priesthood is only to bless others. Show more Show less
