Hi I'm Leena

I'm a busy stay-at-home mom. I'm a redhead. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah and moved to Arizona when I was a teenager. I served as a missionary in Chicago IL. When I got home from my mission, I met the love of my life, Madison. We were married just three months after we met in the Arizona temple. We have been happily married for nine years and now have six beautiful children (five boys and one girl) ranging from eight years old to four months old.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a home that taught me the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For a many years I leaned on my parent's testimonies but then there came a time when I needed to know for myself if the church was true. I remember reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know if it was true. I had a peaceful feeling in my heart testifying it was. That small testimony grew and grew. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's true church upon the earth--that it has all of the truth we need to return to live with our Heavenly Father and our Savoir Jesus Christ. I know it is true by its fruits. I am so happy when I live the gospel and keep the commandments of Heavenly Father. I know the Book of Mormon is true--it is holy scripture and a companion to the Bible. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and restored Christ's church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

In our community, our family remains friendly to our neighbors and those around us. We always try to introduce ourselves to new faces in the neighborhood. We enjoy sharing loaves of bread with friends and neighbors. In our ward, I am a visiting teacher--I have been chosen to watch over and care for three other sisters. I enjoy the friendship I gain when I visit.
