Hi I'm Ginny.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married eight years to my husband. I have two boys ages 3 and 1. I work part-time as a dental hygienist. I enjoy blogging, cooking (and eating), reading, exercising, camping, and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. We went to church every Sunday. When I was younger, I relied on my parents testimony. I went to church and did the things I was encouraged to do because it was what my parents wanted and I wanted to make them happy. As I grew older, I had many faith building experiences and opportunities to gain a testimony for myself, and I did. I am a Mormon because I know the teachings of this church to be true. I know I have a Savior who knows me and wants what is best for me. He atoned for my sins and I can repent and be with him again. I also love that the church teaches the plan of salvation, that I can be with my family forever. The emphasis that the church puts on the family is so important to me. I love my husband and children so much and want to be with them for eternity. There are so many reasons I am a Mormon, too many to name :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday. I serve in the churches' woman's organization, planning activities for the sisters and by visiting and helping out sisters in my congregation. I do my best to hold family home evening with my family. And we are always working on being more consistent with family scripture study and prayer.
